This is a large adaptation of the Black Forest Field Bag that I am making for a forum member on BushcraftUSA.com. It is substantially larger in order to carry a cook kit, Bible, sketch books, pens, etc... I attached webbing onto the right side for adding a bottle holder or other gear and some military grade D-rings onto the bottom corners for lashing tarps, blankets, etc.(as per request of Old Man). I also added a piece of rawhide to the bottom for a little extra wear protection and a pocket on the left hand side for more gear. Now to get busy on the lid and straps..
