This is the second version of my BF Thorax chest pack. This one has a redesigned rear zip pocket to add more room for concealed carry, etc.. The original chest packs rear pocket only had zipper on the side, but now it extends halfway over the top. This gives considerable more room for the rear pouch. It also has 4 inch Velcro and a d-ring setup added for holsters, gear, etc.
This one is for Croatoan(American Grouch) and is in Ranger Green, with Coyote Brown and Black Hardware.

Black Forest Field Bag V3 "The Shotgunner"
Here is the latest version of the BFFB. This bag has some changes and upgrades over the last version, including a redesigned front pocket, fleece lined "ipad" pocket, fully finished interior with black canvas lining, redesigned side pocket, double side release buckles and shotgun shell sized loops on the adjustable shoulder strap.
The customer had requested some red accents, for when he is hunting, so he could spot the bag better. So I changed the black webbing on the shoulder strap to red for high visibility.

Double Bit Axe Custom Sheath with Buffalo Hide Inlay
This was a really fun project that I've been working on for a customer. He supplied a really nice piece of hair on buffalo hide that he wanted a custom inlay with. This was my first attempt at a double bit sheath and my first time doing an inlay, so I was excited to learn some new techniques. He wanted a Native American theme, so I went with some arrowhead stampings and a buffalo shaped inlay. The main body color is saddle tan, with some pieces in show brown for accents. He also wanted a shoulder strap and I used brass hardware throughout. Here is what I came up with...

Scandi Neck Sheath for a Karelia Custom Knives Puukko
Here's another project I just finished up for Michael at Karelia Custom Knives. He made a really nice stacked birch bark handled Puukko and wanted a Scandi style neck sheath for it.
I took some styling queues from Skookum sheaths and added a hand braided leather thong for neck wear. Then gave it a two tone finish, with Saddle Tan and Show Brown dye. As always, it's finished with a beeswax mixture.

Buffalo Leather Sheath for Felco Pruning Shears
Here's a little something different than your normal knife sheath. I had a customer request a sheath for his Swiss made Felco shears and this is what I came up with.
This one is made from 8-9 oz Buffalo bend leather, with a veg tanned leather logo piece at the bottom.

Kephart and Leather for Christmas
I have been wanting to upgrade my girlfriends Mora knife for some time now and figured this Christmas would be a good opportunity. The knife is a classic Ecko Forge that has been re-purposed into a Kephart style woods knife. The handles are dyed bone, which is kind of a mix between blue and purple. Luckily I had just acquired some Buffalo bend leather and have been dying to make something unique with it. After much deliberation, I came up with this two tone design and incorporated my Black Forest logo. I think it turned out pretty good!

Black Forest Field Bag #3
This is the evolution of my Black Forest Field Bag Design. It has come a long way since the first iteration several months ago. This one has a larger side pocket that can hold a 32 oz. Nalgene bottle. It also has a hand sewn leather Black Forest logo, finished in Mahogany. The other big change is the custom strap setup. I used heavy duty 10K Polyester webbing(10,000 lb break strength) and you can adjust the strap length via an Omega USA carabiner. Then I added some elastic webbing on the back for carrying an axe/hatchet.
